The Rockholm Ayurveda is a medium-sized center (25 rooms, maximum 40 people) hung on rocks overlooking the sea.

There is a lot of consideration, the concept of "take care" makes sense here, no doubt, and there is no sense of being a customer but rather a friend or guest.

The chef, Aji, was introduced by Joshi, the chef of Nattika, but his talent is exceptional and apparently innate!

The seaside is a priori unlikely for an Ayurvedic cure, because the sea air is not sought during the treatments, but the beauty of the place operates a je ne sais quoi of magic which is in any case conducive to a letting go spontaneous, accompanied by the singing of the waves and the smiles of the staff.

The comfort is above average, but for those who want to mix cure and local discovery, in a few steps we find ourselves on the tourist beach of Kovalam. Very practical the penultimate day to make his gifts ... and despite that, we are isolated from the omnipresent nuisances in India.

Currently, there are only two treatment rooms, but excellent Ayurveda therapists (masseurs), one of whom I know since the days of Coconut Bay (requisitioned for the commercial port of Vizhinjam) and who practices massages marma (he is present in the thread broadcast on France O Ayurveda le chemin de vie). Her colleague Shamala is also experienced and highly qualified. Doctors have the experience (Dr. Sreekala having spent more than 9 years at Nattika Beach has remarkable knowledge and sensitivity, and she is able to tell you your prakriti in just a few minutes!), When yoga teacher Guru Prasad, his modesty is inversely proportional to his deep knowledge of the meanders of Indian spirituality, and it is with great simplicity and humor that he makes meditation exercises suitable for beginners, and more so if affinity, of course. Here yoga classes are adapted to your tridoshical profile. The kapha will not have the same course as vatha or pitha; this type of scheduling is pioneer in ayurvedic centers!

Everyone here is waiting for the opening of the six new treatment rooms as well as the swimming pool, but that will be by the end of 2020, and there will certainly be fewer places available to book than now, because the center will be closed to non-ayurvedic guests.
